The photographic treasure of Giuseppe Pino

On September 13, 2022, Giuseppe Pino passed away. He is recognized as one of the greatest Italian photographers of the second half of the 20th century.

His important archive has been placed under the protection of the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage as Italian cultural heritage.

To re-evaluate and preserve the memory of a fundamental work forgotten by many, the archive has found its ideal home at Superstudio 13 on via Forcella in Milan, a place of excellence for national and international photographic culture.

Symbolic coincidence: He died on the 13th and now his artistic legacy finds a home at number 13.

Pier Paolo Pitacco currently serves as the art director of the archive.
